What it’s like as a member of the Chick-fil-A Team
As a member of Chick-fil-A’s team, you are expected to exemplify customer service and hospitality in everything you do. A typical day can vary anywhere from 4-8 hours, primarily performing numerous tasks. The primary role of a team member who serves as a cashier is to provide a level of service to each guest that surpasses any experience they have had before - doing so with a heightened sense of urgency. As a cashier, you are the first interaction a guest has with Chick-fil-A and we empower you to uphold this level of service. Additional responsibilities may include: fulfilling guests order, stocking, and/or cleaning.
As a team member who serves as a cook at Chick-fil-A, your primary focus is to provide delicious food to guests that is always prepared with the utmost attention given to food safety, food quality, and product presentation - doing so with a heightened sense of urgency. Additional responsibilities may include: stocking clean, and/or food prep.
A team leader at Chick-fil-A is responsible for directly overseeing either cashiers or cooks. This role is crucial to ensuring each guest receives and unmatched experience of both Chick-fil-A’s hospitality and product quality through direct leadership of their team. Additional responsibilities may include: cash management, inventory management, food safety, problem resolution, opening/closing responsibilities.
A shift leader at Chick-fil-A is responsible for the day to day operations of the business, as they directly impact each guest. A shift leader must be proficient in both front of house and back of house operations and be able to lead others.
The director role at Chick-fil-A is one that comes with great responsibility. You directly impact the reputation and performance of our Chick-fil-A brand. Director roles exist in Human Resources, Training, Quality Control, Food Safety, Operations, Administration, and Financial Return.
